Dual-camera overhead setup

A Clean Overhead System for Left- and Right-Handed Golfers.

Choose Rigel 2 when you want a dedicated simulator room with nothing on the floor and one ceiling unit for left- and right-handed golfers.

Decision guide

Why It Earns the Spot

It is GOLFJOY's dual high-speed camera overhead unit with 18 ball and club metrics, clubhead replay and adjustment-free hardware on a slide-in ceiling bracket. Rigel 3 is the overhead model that tracks putting.

Complete sim path: S200, S Series Pro.

Room feel

Nothing in Your Stance or Swing

The ceiling mount keeps hardware out of the hitting area, which makes the bay feel more like a finished room.

Feedback

18 Metrics plus Clubhead Replay

7 ball and 11 club metrics pair with clubhead path playback and frame-by-frame impact images for training.

Install

Slide-in Bracket, One-Click Calibration

No lens, focus or infrared board to adjust. Slide the unit onto its ceiling bracket, then calibrate with the included board and the GOLFJOY install helper.

Decision checklist

What to Confirm Before Choosing the Rigel 2.

Inspect the Rigel 2 housing and its slide-in ceiling bracket, then confirm the ceiling height, tee position and network run before planning the room.

Fit

A Dedicated Overhead Room

Choose Rigel 2 when the hitting area should stay clear and left- and right-handed golfers share the room.

Mount

Plan the Ceiling First

Mount the unit on a 9.0 to 10.2 ft (2.75 to 3.1 m) ceiling, or 9.5 to 10.2 ft (2.91 to 3.1 m) with a motion stance platform, 43.3 in (110 cm) from the tee.

Install

Slide-in Bracket and One-Click Calibration

Install the bracket, slide the unit on and tighten the safety screw. Calibration uses the included board and the GOLFJOY install helper, and needs a gigabit Ethernet cable to the simulator PC.

Software

6 Months of GOLFJOY Diamond

Diamond currently lists 160 courses at 4K resolution. A current annual plan applies after the included 6 months, and third-party licenses remain separate.

Before you decide

The Questions Buyers Actually Ask.

Straight answers about the Rigel 2, and where the honest answer is "it depends," we say so.

What ceiling height do I need?

Mount Rigel 2 on a ceiling between 9.0 and 10.2 feet (2.75 to 3.1 m). With a motion stance platform the range is 9.5 to 10.2 feet (2.91 to 3.1 m). The unit sits 43.3 inches (110 cm) from the tee. GOLFJOY confirms the ceiling plan with you before shipping.

How is it installed?

Rigel 2 uses adjustment-free hardware, so there is no lens, focus or infrared board to adjust. Install the ceiling bracket, slide the unit onto it and tighten the safety screw. Calibration uses the included calibration board and the GOLFJOY install helper on your PC, which also sets up the network. Calibration and play need a gigabit Ethernet cable to the simulator PC.

Does it handle left- and right-handed players?

Yes. Rigel 2 supports both left- and right-handed golfers.

Do I need special balls or club stickers?

No special ball is needed. Any golf ball works, including plain white balls. Most clubs read club data without stickers. Very dark or black clubfaces read more reliably with the included stickers, and a five-dot sticker method gives the highest-precision club data.

Can I pre-order Rigel 2 online?

Yes. Rigel 2 is $6,999 and is sold online as a pre-order. GOLFJOY ships pre-orders as new units reach the US warehouse and confirms the delivery estimate after the order is placed. Standard shipping is free within the contiguous United States.

Do I need a subscription to use it?

Rigel 2 includes 6 months of GOLFJOY Diamond, currently 160 courses at 4K resolution. After that included period, a current GOLFJOY annual plan applies for continued access, Diamond at $799 per year or Professional at $249 per year. GSPro, E6 and Creative Golf 3D are supported connections with licenses sold separately by their publishers.

Not Sure the Rigel 2 Fits Your Space?

Send your room dimensions and budget. A GOLFJOY specialist in Irvine, CA will tell you honestly what fits, including when the answer is a different unit.
